Watts stars in "Two Mothers," directed by French director Anne Fontaine, in which she and Robin Wright play lifelong friends who begin love affairs with each others' 18-year-old sons, played by Xavier Samuel and James Frecheville.
"I fell in love with the script because I felt like the characters were complicated," Watts said, "and just as I was about to judge them, I found myself forgiving them, because of the love between them."
Ponsoldt directed last year's Sundance entry "Smashed." Woodley starred in "The Descendants." Larson appeared in "21 Jump Street" and "Greenberg." Teller appeared in "Rabbit Hole" and "Project X."
Cera ("Juno") stars in "Crystal Fairy" as an overbearing American traveling with three Chilean brothers (Silva's own siblings, Juan Andres, Jose Miguel and Augustin Silva) a road trip through the Chilean desert in search of the San Pedro cactus for its hallucinogenic effects. Cera said he and his castmates boiled a cactus and drank the noxious brew to get a sense of what their characters were supposed to experience on a mescaline trip, but nothing happened.
"It didn't work," Cera said. "We had this plan to do it and not film because that was going to be overwhelming for everyone. We ended up drinking it and shooting that day, and everyone was fine and nobody felt anything.
Kinski stars in "Diamond on Vinyl," a new feature from J. R. Hughto, the director of "Frogtown."
