Like Tiger Woods, Letterman had his own sex scandal to deal with in 2009. On Oct. 1, Letterman admitted to having sex with co-workers after CBS News producer Robert "Joe" Halderman allegedly threatened to expose the affairs and try to blackmail him. On Feb. 9, 2009, Brown was arrested on suspicion of making criminal threats after an alleged altercation with Rihanna. A leaked photo of the bruised and beaten singer later surfaced on the Internet. On July 20, Brown posted a two-minute video on his YouTube page apologizing for the incident, saying that it was his "deepest regret" and that he "accepts full responsibility." The former presidential candidate admitted to fathering a child with a videographer he hired and had an affair with during his campaign. Initially, he owned up to the affair but not to fathering the baby girl, but on Jan. 21, 2010, he said in a statement that he was the father of Frances Quinn, now 2, adding that "it was wrong for me ever to deny she was my daughter and hopefully one day, when she understands, she will forgive me...
