Rebecca Romijn has graced the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover twice. In addition to sharing the cover with seven other models for the 2006 issue, she also graced the cover by herself in 1999.

Tyra Banks made history in 1996 - she became the first African-American to grace the front of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue when she shared the cover with model Valeria Mazza. The next year, she made history again when she posed for the cover solo.
Elle Macpherson
Elle Macpherson holds the record for the most Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover shots - five in all. She posed for the coveted spot three years in a row, from 1986-1988, once again in 1994 and a final time in 2006 with seven other models.

Beyonce Knowles (2007)

Victoria's Secret model Marisa Miller posed for the cover of the 2008 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue. The American model has appeared in every edition of the magazine from 2002 to 2008.

Bar Refaeli (2009)
Model Bar Refaeli, then 23, graced the cover of the 2009 edition of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue. It was Refaeli's first time on the SI cover, but not the first time she was included in the issue. She was photographed for the 2007 edition, which made her the first Israeli model to be featured in the magazine.
