Bryan Sweatt, 27, and Chandra Fields, 26, had an infant daughter and were reportedly having a dispute over custody and visitation. On Oct. 29, Sweatt broke into Field's parent's home in Greenwood, S.C., waited for the family to come home, and killed Fields, her parents and two children before killing himself.
Sweatt let four other children leave the home, including the infant daughter he had with Fields. The children fled to a neighbor's home who called 911.
On a 911 call made before the murders, Sweatt told a dispatcher, "I'm just stressed out and about to take my life."
Bryan Sweatt, 27, was facing up to 30 years in prison on burglary charges when police say he killed his ex-girlfriend, her parents, two of her children and himself on Oct. 29
