Shooting at Washington Navy Yard

Employees from the Navy Yard complex depart a gathering point for reuniting family members that was set up inside Nationals Park in the wake of the Navy Yard shooting in Washington D.C., Sept. 16, 2013.

Officials say at least 12 people are dead after a shooting at the Washington Navy Yard on Monday morning.

The suspected gunman has also died in the incident at the Naval Sea Systems Command building.

A law enforcement official told CBS News' Pat Milton the suspected shooter apparently had a handgun, an AR-15 assault rifle, and a shotgun with him.
