Investigators say Susan Finkelstein posted an ad on the Web site Craigslist on Oct. 26, 2009 that stated she was a die-hard Phillies fan and buxom blonde in desperate need of two World Series tickets. Police say her posting went on to say the price was negotiable and that "I'm the creative type! Maybe we can help each other!"
An undercover officer responded to the ad, in which police say Susan Finkelstein, shown here in her mug shot, offered to perform various sex acts in exchange for World Series tickets. She was charged with prostitution and related offenses on Oct. 27, 2009. Her lawyer, William Brennan, denied the allegations to KYW-AM. He says there was no offer of sex for tickets.
"You're talking about a 43-year-old woman who was overcome by Phillies fever," William Brennan, Susan Finkelstein's lawyer said, according an Oct. 28, 2009 Burlington County Times article. "You know that Madonna movie 'Desperately Seeking Susan'? This was 'Susan Desperately Seeking.'"
Asked why she listed herself as a "buxom blonde," Susan Finkelstein's lawyer William Brennan told the Burlington County Times in an Oct. 28, 2009 article, "I guess if she put 'little bridge troll' nobody would respond."
