In the series finale of "Sex and the City," Carrie (played by Sarah Jessica Parker) ended up with Mr. Big (Chris Noth) after a dramatic parting with Aleksandr (Mikhail Baryshnikov).
And, on the West Coast, also on the night of Feb. 22, 2004, the series went out in a blaze of glory at the Screen Actors Guild awards ceremony, where Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis accepted the trophy for outstanding performance by an ensemble in a comedy series.
