School Shooting

Authorities said he first shot his grandfather, a police officer, and his companion, took the man's police-issue gunbelt and bulletproof vest and drove his cruiser to Red Lake High School, where he shot students and teachers before apparently taking his own life.

An FBI agent said Weise, seen here in an undated photo, appeared to be acting alone and the motive was unclear. Several students said he held anti-social beliefs, and he may have posted messages on a neo-Nazi Web site expressing admiration for Adolf Hitler.
