Now that OS X Lion has arrived, all other OS X systems have been rendered obsolete. Here's other Apple products that have been gone by the wayside.
The Lion roars
Now that OS X Lion is in the room, OS X Snow Leopard is going to decline in dominance. Goodbye Snow Leopard, you treated us well.
Dancing to the music
Remember when everyone had an iPod? If you were a music lover, you had to have this portable MP3 player. Now, we just plug into our iPhones or iPads, but the iPod helped make those earbuds mandatory in our life.
Too cool for school
The iBook used to be the go to computer for students. The classic casing was offered in multiple colors, allowing people to "customize" their device to their liking. Unfortunately, it was made extinct in 2006.
Powering off
Powerbooks used to be all the rage for those who wanted a super laptop. Apple produced this product from from 1991 to 2006. We've all moved on to MacBook Pros, but we're betting there's some of you out there still holding on to one of these.
Too ahead of its time
The Apple Newton could have been a success, but unfortunately the tablet was ahead of his time. It's rumored that Steve Jobs was afraid to enter the tablet game because of the failure of this product. Needless to say, he's probably very thankful that he decided to go with the iPad and iPad 2.
