Princess Anne and Mark Phillips

Like her sister Irene, Princess Christina married a Catholic and lost her claim to the Dutch throne. Edward, Duke of Windsor
Edward never divorced, but his proposal of marriage to Wallis Simpson - who left her second husband to marry him - caused a national crisis that resulted in his abdication as King Edward VIII.He was given the title His Royal Highness The Duke of Windsor after he abdicated in December 1936.
