Priscilla Presley

The maker of Barbie unveiled the first-ever Elvis and Priscilla Presley dolls on Aug. 12 2008 at Graceland. The dolls are wearing replica outfits of what the Presleys wore on their wedding day in Las Vegas in 1967. The Elvis doll is dressed in a black paisley print tuxedo with boutonniere and black boots. Priscilla's doll is wearing a gown of white chiffon and satin, with tiara and veil.

Priscilla Presley, who came to fame as the young bride of rock and roll icon Elvis Presley, has gained a name for herself as a model, actress, designer and businesswoman. At 62, she was the oldest competitor on this season of "Dancing With the Stars." Despite that, she earned the night's second-highest score in the season debut in March 2008.

Presley and her partner, Louis van Amstel, lost points in the fourth week because of an illegal lift in their waltz routine, leaving them in the bottom two but sparing them elimination. That came the following week when her Latin number again landed her in the bottom two.

Born Priscilla Ann Beaulieu on May 24, 1945, and reared in a military family, Presley gained fame as the wife of rock and roll idol Elvis Presley whom she married in Las Vegas, May 1, 1967. She was 14 when she met "The King" while he was stationed in Germany and just 21 when they married.

The marriage lasted six years. Elvis Presley and Priscilla are seen here leaving Superior Court in Santa Monica, Calif. on Oct. 10, 1973, after they were granted a divorce on grounds of irreconciliable difference. They shared custody of their only child, Lisa Marie, who was born in February 1968, and remained friends until the singer's 1977 death.

Presley is seen at Harrods department store in London, Wednesday April 5, 2006, to launch her new collection of bed linen. The collection is designed jointly by Priscilla and fashion designer Bruno Schiavi. This followed a sucessful launch of four perfumes, which she sold on the Home Shopping Network in the 1990s.
