The English rock group Duran Duran. In the 1980s, the Fab Five (as they were then) led the Second British Invasion.
Duran Duran
Formed in the late '70s by keyboardist Nick Rhodes and guitar player John Taylor, original singer Stephen Duffy and bassist Simon Colley were later replaced by guitarist Andy Taylor, singer Simon Le Bon and drummer Roger Taylor.
In 1981 they released their eponymous first album, which rose to Number 3 on the U.K. charts.

Duran Duran
In the mid-'80s, the band was starting to splinter. Duran Duran never officially broke up, but John and Andy Taylor went off to form the hard rock/funk group Power Station (with Robert Palmer and Tony Thompson). Rhodes, Le Bon and Roger Taylor formed Acadia.
"We split in two," Nick Rhodes told CBS News' Anthony Mason. "Three went one way, two the other. Actually, Roger was in the middle, in fairness."
Andy Taylor
In 1987, two years after guitarist Andy Taylor (left) and bassist John Taylor joined with Robert Palmer and Tony Thompson to form Power Station, Andy recorded a solo album, "Thunder."
Duran Duran
In 1988 Duran Duran (now featuring only John Taylor, Le Bon and Rhodes) released the album "Big Thing." It featured the singles "I Don't Want Your Love" and "Do You Believe in Shame?"
