New York - Building climber

The man, who wanted an "audience" with Businessman and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, spent three hours climbing the facade using large suction cups. Before the climb the man posted a video to Facebook telling people to vote for Trump.

Macedonia - Rain

Fierce storms packing strong winds and torrential rains overnight killed at least 20 people in Macedonia's capital of Skopje, the health minister said August 7. The freak weather included winds blowing at more than 70 kilometers (43 miles) an hour and resulted in flash floods and landslides, with cars swept away by the violent torrents.

The country's Department of Relief and Resettlement reports 419,330 people have been affected by flooding in five regions and the two states of Mon and Kachin with five deaths from the period of July to August 9, 2016.
