"Dr. Death" Released
Assisted suicide advocate Dr. Jack Kevorkian walks out of the Lakeland Correctional Facility after his release Friday, June 1, 2007 in Coldwater, Michigan. Kevorkian, 79, was convicted of second degree murder on March 26, 1999 in the death of Thomas Youk, who suffered from Lou Gehrig's disease. Kevorkian was known as "Dr. Death" and claims he assisted in the deaths of more than 130 chronically and terminally ill people.
