Posing with crew members Jake Barlow (camera) and Rocky Sabini (sound) on a stretch of lonely highway just outside Pella, Iowa, after long day of shooting with the Mitt Romney campaign. As you can see, we were a little bit punchy and windblown, but happy with a job well done!
A big hug for my producer, Eric Salzman, who put together the two-part series on GOP candidate Romney. Eric's one of the most thorough guys I know, and inundated me with two full notebooks of info on the former Massachusetts governor! At least I was able to unload them on him during the ride home. My briefcase must have weighed 10 pounds!
In a hotel room in Pella, Iowa, interviewing GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney and his wife, Ann. I first met Romney in 2002 as he literally rescued the Salt Lake City Olympics from debt and scandal and then pulled off the event without a hitch -- the first major event on U.S. soil since the 9/11 attacks.
