Old Enough to Know Better?

Theresa Collier, a 73-year-old grandmother from Florida was arrested in April 2010 for allegedly slapping her daughter after the teenager cursed at her. According to CBS affiliate WTSP, Chief Assistant State Attorney Bruce Bartlett said it simply wasn't practical to prosecute the case and dropped the domestic battery charge.

Peter Barry Lawrence

A 71-year old man with in a wheelchair rolled into a San Diego bank with a BB gun and allegedly robbed it. Peter Barry Lawrence was arrested July 2010 about five minutes after leaving the bank, reports CBS affiliate KFMB. "I felt like Clint Eastwood or Charles Bronson," Lawrence told The San Diego Union Tribune.

Joy Cassidy

Joy Cassidy, 74, allegedly went on a condiment crime spree. The Idaho woman was arrested in July 2010 for library vandalism after workers found books in the drop box covered in an assortment of condiments, including corn syrup, ketchup, maple syrup and mayonnaise, according to the Associated Press. Cassidy is being charged with malicious injury to property and carrying a concealed weapon without a license.

Jean Stevens

91-year-old Pennsylvania widow Jean Stevens dug up the graves of her husband and twin sister so they could remain at home with her, reports the Associated Press. Stevens had lived with her husband's corpse for over a decade and her sister for about a year. Thus far, no charges have been filed against Stevens, but as Bradford County District Attorney Daniel Barrett put it, "there were some things done here that were not lawful."

The Geezer Bandit

Police say a man who appears old - perhaps in his 60s or 70s - has robbed 10 banks in the San Diego area and one in Temecula, Calif. in the last year. The "Geezer Bandit," who performs his heists with a handgun, is considered armed and dangerous by authorities according to CBS affiliate KFMB. Police believe it is possible that the serial bank robber could actually be a young man in disguise.

Ella Orko

Serial shoplifter, Ella Orka, 86, was arrested in August 2009 for the 61st time. Her most recent alleged robbery included 11 packs of AA batteries, five packs of salmon, two packs of anti-wrinkle cream, eight jars of facial cream, and four tins of instant coffee, reports CBS affiliate WBBM. Orko was charged with felony shoplifting, according to a Belmont District police lieutenant and bond was set at $10,000.

Helen Franklin

Police were searching for a suspect in Helen Franklin's' neighborhood when they noticed marijuana plants growing in her Memphis garden. When asked about the plants Franklin allegedly responded, "Yes, reefer. I planted it," reports MyFox Memphis. The Tennessee grandmother was arrested in June 2010 and held on $5,000 bond.

Sandra Powell

Sandra Powell of South Carolina was pulled over in May 2010 for driving 102 miles per hour in a 45 mile per hour zone. The 72-year-old grandmother said she was on her way to a hair appointment when police arrested her and charged her with reckless driving. Powell tells CBS affiliate WSPA that she "kind of blacked out" and her family took her to the hospital after bailing her out of jail.

William C. Tinnen

93-year-old William C. Tinnen of North Carolina was charged in August 2007 for cocaine trafficking. When police raided his apartment they confiscated three firearms and found drug paraphernalia, reports CBS affiliate WRAL. Tinnen faces additional charges of possessing drug paraphernalia and maintaining a dwelling for the sale of drugs.

Ola Mae Agee

Florida woman, Ola Mae Agee, 87, allegedly sold crack cocaine to an undercover police officer in May 2010. According to CBS affiliate WLTX, Agee was arrested and taken to jail but was released on her own recognizance because of her age. This was not the first time the 87-year-old was arrested on drug-related charges.

Elizabeth Marie Grube & Elaine Volkert

Sisters Elizabeth Marie Grube, 70, and Elaine Volkert, 65, were arrested in April 2009 on drug charges. Investigators found 400 bags of heroin worth over $8,000 in their home, reports CBS affiliate KYW. The sisters were charged with possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance and criminal conspiracy.

The Granddad Bandit

An older man, bald and bespectacled, does not try to hide his identity when walks into banks and hands demanding notes to the tellers. The so-called "Granddad Bandit" is thought to have robbed 26 banks in 12 states in the last two years, according to CBS affiliate WKYT. The notorious bank robber is wanted in Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Kansas, Florida, New York, Oklahoma, Texas, Mississippi, Missouri, Tennessee and Virginia.

Daniel Ott. Sr

Ohio man, Daniel Ott, Sr., 71, was indicted in June 2010 on charges of interstate transportation of stolen property and aiding and abetting a vehicle chop shop, according to CBS affiliate WKBN. Although Ott pleaded not guilty to the charges, an FBI affidavit says he told agents that he has stolen over 100 Corvettes throughout his career. Ott will remain in jail at least until September.

Patricia Pulsifer

Patricia Pulsifer, 70, of New York was caught allegedly cashing illegal checks from Nigeria that were actually from a Georgia woman's bank account, reports CBS affiliate WRGB. She was arrested July 2010 after investigators traced the fraudulent checks back to her. Pulsifer is charged with two felony counts of criminal possession of forged instrument and one felony count of grand larceny.

John Scruggs

John Scruggs was charged with driving under the influence and child endangerment when he was allegedly driving drunk with his 5-day-old grandson in the backseat. The South Carolina man was reportedly on his way to the store to buy baby formula when he was caught, reports CBS affiliate WSPA.

Daniel Joseph White

Daniel Joseph White, 77, allegedly resisted arrest in July 2010 after exposing himself to an undercover police officer and asking for sexual favors, reports CBS affiliate KENS. The San Antonio man was charged with indecent exposure and resisting arrest. He was later released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond.

Draco Slaughter

Chicago man, 75, was arrested in Long Island in June 2010 after reportedly telling a flight attendant that he had a bomb in his carry-on luggage, reports CBS affiliate WBBM. Draco Slaughter was detained on the plane and his bond was set at $50,000. He was charged with falsely reporting an incident and pleaded not guilty.

Robert Mora

Grandfather Robert Mora reportedly left his 11-month-old granddaughter in his locked car on a hot October afternoon in Sacramento and went into a nearby bar. It was not until a man passing by saw the baby over 30 minutes later that she was rescued from the heat, reports CBS affiliate KPIX. The police were called and Mora was arrested.
