Crackdowns against the Occupy Wall Street encampments across the country reached the epicenter of the movement Tuesday, when police rousted protesters from the park and a judge ruled that their free speech rights do not extend to pitching a tent and setting up camp for months at a time.

Occupy Wall Street protesters were allowed back into Zuccotti Park in New York, Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2011, though the park wasn't as full as it had been before they were forcibly evicted earlier in the day.
