2017 parole hearing

Simpson was up for parole after serving nine years of a 33-year sentence for a 2007 armed robbery and kidnapping conviction.
"I've basically lived a conflict-free life"
Simpson was questioned by parole commissioners in Carson City, a two-hour drive from where he is incarcerated.
He said he believed prison courses have prepared him to re-enter the community.
"I've basically lived a conflict-free life," Simpson added.
Granted parole
All four commissioners agreed to grant parole.

Simpson and co-defendant Clarence "C.J." Stewart were found guilty on all charges, including felony kidnapping, armed robbery and conspiracy, stemming from a confrontation with sports memorabilia dealers.
The verdict came 13 years to the day after Simpson was acquitted of murdering ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman.
