Steven Kazmierczak, 27, was identified by authorities as the gunman who killed five people and wounded at least 15 others at Northern Illinois University before committing suicide. Kazmierczak, who had been a student at Northern Illinois, was most recently enrolled as a graduate student at the University of Illinois. Police said Kazmierczak had become erratic after he had stopped taking some kind of medication recently.
