NFL Week 13 Highlights

Washington has a three-game winning streak in which it has dispatched each of its division rivals - Philadelphia, Dallas and now New York - one by one.

Romo sets TD mark as Cowboys beat Eagles, 38-33

Romo threw three touchdown passes to break Troy Aikman's career franchise record, and the Dallas Cowboys beat the Philadelphia Eagles 38-33. The Cowboys (6-6) trailed 27-24 when Romo led an 86-yard drive that was sparked by a 35-yard pass to Dez Bryant on third down. Bryant gave Dallas the lead when took a screen pass from the 6 and got inside the pylon with 5:40 remaining.

Chiefs beats Panthers at somber Arrowhead Stadium

Brady Quinn threw for 201 yards and two touchdowns, and Jamaal Charles ran for 127 yards in the victory over their Carolina Panthers. The win snapped an eight-game losing streak during one of the most difficult seasons the franchise has ever experienced. The win came just one day after Chiefs linebacker Jovan Belcher shot his girlfriend multiple times at a residence near Arrowhead Stadium, then drove to the team's practice facility and turned the gun on himself as general manager Scott Pioli and coach Romeo Crennel looked on.

Pats clinch AFC East title by beating Miami 23-16

Tom Brady had his least efficient game of the year and even threw an interception, but the Patriots took advantage of the Dolphins' mistakes to clinch their fourth consecutive AFC East title with a 23-16 win. A botched punt, roughing-the-punter penalty and fumble by Miami led to 17 New England points, and another penalty negated a Dolphins touchdown.

Texans clinch playoff berth, down Titans 24-10

The Texans forced six turnovers and also had six sacks in beating the Titans 24-10 to clinch a second straight playoff berth. Rookie linebacker Whitney Mercilus recovered a fumble and had two sacks as the Texans (11-1) remain tied with Atlanta for the best record in the NFL with their sixth straight win.

Manning throws 3 TDs as Broncos top Bucs 31-23

McElroy replaces Sanchez, leads Jets to 7-6 win

McElroy threw a touchdown pass to cap his first NFL drive early in the fourth quarter, leading New York to an ugly 7-6 victory and sending the Arizona Cardinals to their eighth straight loss.

Rice TD gives Seahawks 23-17 OT win over Bears

Russell Wilson threw two late touchdowns, connecting with Rice for a 13-yard score with 7:33 left in overtime to lift the Seahawks to a wild 23-17 victory over the Chicago Bears.

Steelers stun Ravens 23-20

Shaun Suisham kicked a 42-yard field goal as time expired, and the Steelers rallied behind Charlie Batch to shock the Ravens 23-20. Playing without injured quarterback Ben Roethlisberger for a third straight week, the Steelers turned to the 37-year-old Batch for the second game in a row. He went 25 for 36 for 276 yards, threw a touchdown and moved the Steelers 61 yards before Suisham's game-winning kick.

Andrew Luck-led Colts rally to beat Lions 35-33

Luck threw a 14-yard touchdown pass to Donnie Avery with no time left to lift the Colts to a dramatic 35-33 comeback win over the Lions. With the final seconds ticking away, the rookie quarterback moved up in the pocket, flipped a short pass to Avery, and the receiver ran untouched into the end zone to complete a rally that started with Lions up 12 points midway through the fourth quarter.

The Rams beat the 49ers 16-13 in overtime. Zuerlien's 53-yarder at the end of regulation forced another extra period for teams that tied 24-24 in San Francisco on Nov. 11. In overtime, the Rams let the play clock run down instead of trying to get closer on fourth-and-inches from the 36, making sure the 49ers wouldn't have much time if Zuerlein missed. They needn't have worried. He split the uprights.

Falcons pick off Brees 5 times, beat Saints 23-13

The Falcons raced to a 17-0 lead and the defense made it stand up, picking off five of Drew Brees' passes and ending his NFL-record touchdown streak with a 23-13 victory Thursday night. The Falcons moved to the brink of clinching the NFC South and dealt a big blow to the Saints (5-7) and their fading playoff hopes.
