World's most famous kids
They may be small, but these pint-sized celebrities generate huge buzz. And when your dad has more gold medals than any Olympian in history, having a golden smile only seals the deal. Forget Baby Boomers. World, meet baby Boomer.
"I'm ready to see some more fast swimming!! Go get em daddy!!! Go get em USA!!! #usa #rio2016," Boomer Phelps (or more likely, his mother) posted on Instagram, August 8, 2016.
Boomer Phelps
Boomer Phelps, the son of superstar swimmer Michael Phelps, made his Olympic debut in Rio in 2016. Decked out in pint-sized red, white and blue baby clothes, he joined his mother and grandmother in the stands, cheering on his dad.
Then, on August 9, 2016, after Michael Phelps won his historic 20th gold medal in the Men's 200m Butterfly Final, he climbed up into the stands to kiss his son, gifting the world with an anxiously anticipated closeup of little Boomer.
Boomer Phelps
And what about all that "booming" noise in the Olympic Aquatics Stadium? Isn't that overwhelming for an infant?
Not to worry. Boomer Phelps came prepared with his very own set of patriotic, noise-canceling headphones.
The Broncos' grand Marshall
From swimming to football...
Heading into Super Bowl 2016, this tiny Bronco, Marshall Manning, intercepted a lot of his dad's attention.
Marshall Manning
Marshall Manning, son of Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning, joined his father for a post-game press conference after the AFC Championship on January 24, 2016, and totally stole the show. So, while the official score was Broncos 20 - Patriots 18, it might as well have been Marshall Manning 1 - World 0.
Saint West
Pop culture lovers everywhere are dying to get a glimpse of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian's second child, Saint. This photo posted to Instagram on January 3, 2016, almost a month after Saint's birth, is the first glimpse fans have gotten, and it only shows little Saint's hand wrapped around older sister, North's, finger.
The caption reads, "She said, 'He's my best friend.'" But everyone knows a Kardashian's real best friend is a selfie. So, fans are naturally holding out for a face shot.
Max Zuckerberg
Max is Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg's first child with wife, Dr. Priscilla Chan. She was born in late November 2015; and, appropriately, she was introduced to the world about a week later in a lengthy, gushing Facebook post by her father.
Riley Curry
In 2015, as Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors marched toward the NBA Championship, the country met and fell in love with the MVP's adorable two-year-old daughter, Riley.
Whether she was waving to fans after games, dancing on the sidelines, or stealing the show at press conferences, Riley Curry was the best and most unexpected surprise of the 2015 basketball season.
Tearing up our heart
Many A-List parents are taking to social media to Instagram and tweet out their own images of these mini celebs; seizing control of the pictures the public sees and reducing paparazzi incentives in the process.
Justin Timberlake, for example, used Instagram on April 19, 2015 to introduce his new son to the world. He posted this picture of baby Silas and mom Jessica Biel with the caption, "The Timberlakes are ready!!! GO GRIZZ! #GritNGrind #Playoffs #BabyGrizzROAR"
So, Silas isn't too young to be a celebrity OR an NBA fan. Handsome little guy. It's like he's a "mirror," right?
Royal buzz
Perhaps the biggest baby buzz in recent memory, however, centered around the coming of Royal Baby #2.
Princess Charlotte is now fourth in line for the British throne -- after her grandpa Charles, her father William and her older brother George -- but she is currently first in line for our hearts.
Here, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William, Duke of Cambridge depart the St. Mary's Hospital with their newborn daughter, May 2, 2015.
All signs point North
North West is, without question, one of the world's most fashionable celebrity kids right now, with parents Kim Kardashian and Kanye West frequently carting her along to high profile events beyond her years.
Here, North attends the Alexander Wang Fashion Show during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week with her parents in February 2015, proving that you're never too young to make a scene.
Spreading like ivy
Blue Ivy Carter is another A-List tot with massive star power.
With parents like Beyonce and Jay-Z, forget "Daddy." Her first word was probably Papa... razzi.
Here, she makes an appearance onstage at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards. Because you can do that as a toddler, when your mom's Beyonce.
Rap royalty
Chris Brown took to Instagram on April 16, 2015 to introduce the world to his daughter "Royalty," saying "God has blessed me with my twin. #ROYALTY"
The little girl's existence became public in March when she was nine-months-old, but this Instagram photo marks the first time Brown has publicly posted anything about the daughter he now shares with model Nia Guzman.
Baby Bash
Wiz Khalifa posted this adorable photo of his son "The Bash" on Instagram, last week with the caption, "It's Daddy."
The post, which shows the rapper's softer side, is one of many in which Wiz features his son with ex Amber Rose.
The start of his reign
After teasing followers for months, reality star Kourtney Kardashian instagrammed this photo of her third child three weeks ago with the caption: "My little turtle dove angel baby boy Reign Aston Disick."
The photo garnered 1.3 million likes. And just like that, a new reality star is born.
Shut. the. front. door.
Stylist to the stars Rachel Zoe gave birth to a second son, named, Kaius "Kai" Jagger Berman, in December 2013. And the fashionable Kai certainly took a page from his mom's book of style.
Here, the pair walk on the beach in St. Barths in one of Zoe's Instagram posts.
Little footballers
Barcelona star defender Gerard Pique shows his sons, Milan (2) and Sasha (2 months) off to the crowd before a Spanish league football match, April 18, 2015. The boys' mom, Colombian mega-singer Shakira, watched from the crowd as her little heartbreakers took the field.
Shakira's hips don't lie, so we won't either. These little studs can steal the show "Whenever, Wherever" they please.
American Idol
Kelly Clarkson's baby girl, River Rose, regularly makes the rounds to radio shows and TV appearances with her singer mom, winning over hearts wherever she goes.
Here, River appears to have won over funny-man Jimmy Fallon with that big smile of hers, before Clarkson's "Tonight Show" appearance, March 2015.
No sleep 'til Brooklyn
98 degrees frontman Nick Lachey and his wife, TV host Vanessa Lachey, recently announced the birth of their new daughter, Brooklyn, on Vanessa's website.
As is often the case with celebrity babies, "The Hardest Thing" is that we have to catch our first glances of baby Brooklyn in dribs and drabs.
Though photos like this only reveal glimpses, it's clear Baby Lachey already has a knack for show business. Just look at the pose she's striking with her arm here... it's nearly 98 degree angle.
Axl Duhamel
Black Eyed Peas front woman Fergie instagrammed this photo of her son, Axl, in late December 2014.
Axl, Fergie's son with actor "Transformers" Josh Duhamel, is now 20-months-old and straddling the toddler line. But with two A-list parents and those Hollywood blonde curls, we feel he still deserves a spot on the list. Anyone who has a problem with that can just "Shut Up" about it. Because really, "Where is the love?"
Suri Cruise
Lastly, any list of celebrity kids would be remiss, if it left out Suri Cruise. The hyper-famous daughter of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes was one of the most anxiously anticipated babies to "cruise" onto the scene in recent memory.
Though her parents -- once publicly infatuated with each other -- have split since her birth, little Suri looks like she's making the best of her new situation.
In this Instagram photo, posted by Holmes April 16, 2015, Suri and her mom don giant glasses and pink feather boas. But no matter how goofy the outfit, we can still see that Suri is a true Maverick underneath.
