Md. woman accused of texting in fatal crash

Elizabeth Meyers, 20, of Severn, Md., was charged Oct. 7, 2013 with negligent manslaughter by motor vehicle, criminal negligent manslaughter, reckless driving, negligent driving, failure to yield the right of way and text messaging while driving. Prosecutors say she hit and killed 30-year-old Jonathan Roberts, who was riding on his motorcycle, on March 10, 2013. Prosecutors say Meyers was texting when she hit the victim.
