Leah Ignagni, shown here in a Facebook photo obtained by Crimesider, has been named by Nashville police as NFL star Steve McNair's second girlfriend after Sahel Kazemi, who allegedly shot and killed McNair before turning the gun on herself on July 4, 2009. McNair was married as well.
A case summary of Steve McNair's murder released Oct. 19, 2009 by Nashville police states that based on police interviews with Leah Ignagni, shown here, and Sahel Kazemi's former roommate, Emily Andrews, Kazemi believed that McNair was involved with another woman. Sahel Kazemi allegedly shot and killed McNair, who was married, on July 4, 2009, before committing suicide.
Leah Ignagni, 25, also told Nashville police that a car matching the description of Sahel Kazemi's black Escalade followed her home and that a woman was inside. Kazemi was in a relationship with married NFL star Steve McNair, and suspected he was cheating on her with Ignagni, according to police.
According to her MySpace page, Leah Ignagni, here in a Facebook photo obtained by Crimesider, is 25-years-old. Her LinkedIn page, which has now been removed, lists her as an editor at a start-up magazine about Nashville night-life called "61Five," according to USA Today.
Sahel Kazemi's former roommate, Emily Andrews, confirmed that Kazemi believed Steve McNair had another mistress, Leah Ignagni, pictured here, according to a police report released Oct. 20, 2009. Andrews told police that Kazemi said she found a tampon in the bathroom wastebasket in McNair's Lea Avenue condo, and on another occasion, saw a female leaving the condo, the report states.

Was jealously at play in Steve McNair's death? The new police report does not specifically speculate on what role, if any, Leah Ignagni, shown here, might have played in Sahel Kazemi's mind, but they have previously stated they believed Kazemi killed McNair and herself because of stress, money worries, and jealousy.
Police believe Sahel Kazemi, shown here, was in a jealously-fueled downward spiral in the days leading up to Steve McNair's murder. Police also say she was in financial trouble, a premise backed up by newly released text messages between Kazemi and McNair. But CBS News has also found new video and testimony which suggests Kazemi wasn't depressed in her final days.

Sahel Kazemi, shown here, was described as "outgoing," "positive," and "very happy and upbeat all the time" by her ex-live-in-boyfriend of four years, Keith Norfleet, who spoke exclusively with CBS News Chief Investigative Correspondent Armen Keteyian for the first time since the incident.

After what Nashville Police called "nearly four days of intensive investigation," authorities concluded that Sahel Kazemi, McNair's mistress, who used the first name "Jenny," purchased a gun after she was arrested for a DUI and then shot the football player and herself because of mounting financial issues.
Sahel Kazemi's friends doubt the police theory that Kazemi killer Steve McNair and then herself. "I still feel like something is missing, I don't think Jenny ever shot McNair, I don't think Jenny shot herself," said Lakresia Polite, a friend of Sahel Kazemi.
What exactly was Sahel Kazemi's state of mind before she and Steve McNair died? Jailhouse video shows she was in good spirits after a DUI arrest, contrary to authorities' theory that the arrest had provoked her to kill. The tape shows Kazemi at the jail the night of the DUI. She talks to strangers - at one point helps fix a woman's hair - she never seems angry or unhappy.
In an Oct. 20, 2009 police report, Nashville authorities released text messages between Sahel Kazemi and Steve McNair which indicates Kazemi was deeply worried about her finances and needy for McNair's affection. The same report says that Kazemi had become aware of McNair's second mistress, Leah Ignagni.
Still for some there are questions. "There are a bunch of inconsistencies that would cause me to go back and investigate it further," said Wayne Black, a former police detective and licensed investigator with 36 years of experience, said of the investigation.
While some of the details of the final days of Steve McNair and Sahel Kazemi are still debated, the end is without dispute. Both were shot to death in McNair's Nashville apartment July 4, 2009 far before their times.
Family members closest to Sahel Kazemi, shown here, do not believe she was capable of the killing Steve McNair and then herself. "She wasn't angry enough to do something like that," Azadeh Kazemi, her sister, said.
Police tell a different story. They say Sahel Kazemi, 20, shown here, spent the last week of her life worrying about money and the state of her relationship with McNair, who she had believed was separated from his wife.
