Maxim's "Hot" List

Lindsay Lohan, the 20-year-old "Georgia Rule" star, tops Maxim magazine's eighth annual "Hot 100" list, a ranking by editors weighing buzz and beauty for women in film, TV, music, sports and fashion.

"There is no other star in the world (who) causes more of a stir in the public eye than Lindsay," said Editor in Chief Jimmy Jellinek.

Jessica Alba

Actress Jessica Alba is No. 2 on the list, featured in the magazine issue hitting stands on May 19, 2007. This was the same spot she had last year. She also was voted No. 1 in AskMen.com's Top 99 Most Desirable Women of 2006 and placed third on E's 2006 list of "101 Sexiest Bodies."

Scarlett Johansson

Actress Scarlett Johansson is No. 3 on the list. She was sixth on last year's list and was named "Sexiest Woman Alive" by Esquire magazine last October. The 22-year-old star is a favorite of director Woody Allen, having starred in his last two movies, "Match Point" and "Scoop."

Christina Aguilera

Pop singer Christina Aguilera made No. 4 on the list. The 26-year-old Grammy winner topped the list in 2003. She also was named the first Glamour magazine Woman of the Year in 2004 and was ranked 14th on VH1's list of 50 Geatest Women of the Video Era.

Jessica Biel

Jessica Biel, the 25-year-old "7th Heaven" star, comes in at No. 5 on the 2007 list. She was voted "Sexiest Woman Alive" by Esquire magazine in 2005 and she ranked No. 14 on VH1's The 50 Geatest Women of the Video Era."

Ali Larter

"Heroes" star Ali Larter is in sixth place. The 31-year-old actress won a Young Hollywood Award for a breakthrough performance in the 2000 film, "Final Destination."

Eva Mendes

Eva Mendes, a 33-year-old Cuban-American actress, is No. 7 on the list. The star of "Training Day," "Hitch" and "Trust the Man" was listed as No. 44 in FHM magazine's "100 Sexiest Women in the World 2006."

Rihanna

The one-named pop singer Rihanna comes in at No. 8 on the list. The Barbados-born 19-year-old won Teen Choice awards in 2006 for choice R&B artist and female breakout artist and was named best R&B artist at the 2006 MTV Europe Music Awards and was Billboard's 2006 Femakle Artist of the Year.

Eva Longoria

"Desperate Housewives" star Eva Longoria, who topped the 2005 list, comes in at No. 9 this year. The Golden Globe nominee won a 2006 People Choice Award as Favorite Female TV Star. She was the cover girl for Maxim 's 100th issue in 2006 and was No. 13 in FHM magazine's "100 Sexiest Women in the World 2006."

Fergie

Fergie, the Black Eyed Peas singer, is in the No. 10 spot. Born Stacy Ann Ferguson in 1975, the singer released her first solo album last year. She had minor acting roles in the films "Poseidon" and "Grindhouse."

Sienna Miller

Briitish actress Sienna Miller is No. 11 on the 2007 list. She was No. 42 on last year's list. The "Factory Girl" star and one-time fiancee of actor Jude Law was ranked No. 2 in AskMen.com's Top 99 Most Desirable Women of 2006.

Angelina Jolie

Oscar-winning actress and media star Angelina Jolie comes in at No. 12 on the list, dropping from the No. 4 spot last year. A United Nations Goodwill Ambassador and the partner of actor Brad Pitt, Jolie was on Time magazine's 2007 list of the world's 100 most influential people and was named No. 2 in FHM magazine's "100 Sexiest Women in the World 2006."

Beyonce Knowles

Singer and actress Beyonce Knowles is No. 13. The 25-year-old Golden Globe and Grammy nominee got her start in the singing trio Destiny's Child. She ranked No. 18 in FHM magazine's "100 Sexiest Women in the World 2006."

Katherine Heigl

Katherine Heigl, one of the stars of "Grey's Anatomy," is No. 14 on the list. The 28-year-old Washington, D.C., native was No. 19 in FHM magazine's "100 Sexiest Women in the World 2006."

Avril Lavigne

Canadian singer Avril Lavigne is No. 15 on the 2007 list. The 22-year-old Grammy nominee married musician Deryck Whibley last summer. In 2005, she was voted No. 1 in Teen People's Hottest 21 Under 21 List.

Ashlee Simpson

Singer Ashlee Simpson ranks No. 16 on the Maxuim list. Her older sister Jessica Simpson is on the list at No. 41. Ashlee, best known for storming off the stage after lip-synching on her "Saturday Nigh Live" performance, is on Forbes 2006 Richest Young Celebrities List.

Maria Sharapova

Russian tennis star Maria Sharapova holds the 17th spot on the list. The 2004 Wimbledon and WTA champion, she is lsite d by Forbes magazine as the highest-paid female athlete in the world. She also is 8 in FHM magazine's "100 Sexiest Women in the World 2006."

Megan Fox

Megan Fox, the "Transformers" star who just turned 21, is No. 18 on the list. The Tennessee native, who is engaged to actor Brian Austin Green, was 68 in FHM magazine's "100 Sexiest Women in the World 2006."

Cameron Diaz

Actress Cameron Diaz, the voice of Shrek's Princess Fiona, comes in at No. 19. The 34-year-old former model ranked 23rd in FHM magazine's "100 Sexiest Women in the World 2006."

Keira Knightly

"Pirates of the Caribbean" last Keira Knightly rounds out the Top 20. The 22-year-old British actress was No. 9 last year. She also was named No. 5 in FHM magazine's "100 Sexiest Women in the World 2006," and No. 1 in New Woman magazine's 50 Most Beautiful Celebs of 2004.
