Manhunt for Paris terror suspects
The manhunt for suspects in the Nov. 13, 2015 Paris attacks: Two French police officials have told The Associated Press that Salah Abdeslam, the main fugitive from the Paris attacks, has been arrested in Belgium's capital after four months at large, March 18, 2016.
Gunshots were heard March 18 as special forces police raided several locations in the Belgian suburb of Molenbeek, home to several people involved in the attacks.

The fingerprints of Salah Abdeslam were found in a Brussel's apartment raided by police earlier a few days earlier in March. Police came under fire during the raid leading to four officers being slightly injured and one suspect killed, according to Belgian authorities.

Belgian and French police launched a large manhunt for suspects late March 15 after a Kalashnikov-wielding assailant was killed and four officers were wounded during an anti-terror operation in Brussels linked to the Paris attacks that killed 130 people. The dead person had not been identified but prosecutors said it was not Salah Abdeslam, a key suspect in the November 13 killings in Paris claimed by the Islamic State jihadist group
Manhunt in Saint-Denis
Officials say eight people were arrested and three people killed in a raid Nov. 18, 2015 on an apartment building where suspects in the Nov. 13 Paris attacks were holed up. Among the dead was suspected Paris attacks ringleader Abdelhamid Abaaoud and a woman, Hasna Aitboulahcen, identified by authorities as Abaaoud's cousin. The third person killed was confirmed Nov. 20, but hasn't been identified.

A senior police official believed that the suspect, Belgian Abdelhamid Abaaoud, in the Nov. 13 attacks, was inside an apartment in the Paris suburb with five heavily armed people. Abaaoud's death was confirmed through fingerprints Nov. 19.
