In 2000, Kenny Chesney's fame reached new heights partly because of an incident at the New York state fair. Chesney hopped on a police horse, thinking he had permission. An officer tried to pull him off and singer Tim McGraw came to his aid. Chesney was charged and acquitted of disorderly conduct. McGraw was charged and acquitted with obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest.
