Joshua "JC" Chasez, shown here singing at the "Family Celebration 2001" in Los Angeles, got his nickname when he joined the cast of "The New Mickey Mouse Club." There was already a Josh on the show, so to avoid confusion he was dubbed "JC," his first and last initials.

JC, top left, is seen here performing with the rest of 'NSYNC at the halftime show of the 2001 Super Bowl performing their hit "It's Gonna Be Me." The album that song is from, 2001's "No Strings Attached," also marked the beginning of JC's songwriting and producing career.

It seems JC doesn't just have singing skills -- he can shoot hoops too! At the Challenge for The Charity in Florida on July 27, 2002, he and other celebrities showed off their basketball skills to raise money for various charities.

JC Chasez flew solo at z100's Zootopia concert on June 1, 2003, at Giants Stadium in New Jersey. Among other songs, he performed his first single as a solo artist, "Blowing Me Up (With Her Love)."

JC released his first solo album, "Schizophrenic," on February 24, 2004, which featured the singles "Some Girls (Dance With Women)" and "All Day Long I Dream About Sex." Here he is at a release party for the album in New York on March 17, 2004.

Another event, another girl. After his romance with Eva Longoria, JC Chasez was linked to actress and party girl Tara Reid. Here the two sit together during Olympus Fashion Week in New York on Sept. 15, 2005.
