iPhone 5 goes on sale around the world

Apple's iPhone 5 went on sale Sept. 21, 2012 to a global frenzy. Photos from around the world show fans in lines for the highly-anticipated smartphone, which is now available in the U.S, Canada, U.K. France, Germany, Australia, Japan, Hong Kong and Singapore. More countries will see the iPhone 5 on Sept. 28.
