Gunman shoots Philly cop
A man, identified by police as Edward Archer, used a stolen police gun and ambushed Philadelphia Police Officer Jesse Hartnett in his marked cruiser, claiming to be acting in the name of Islam, late Jan. 7, 2016. Both Harnett and Archer were injured.
A series of still images from surveillance video were released by the Philadelphia Police Department showing the shooting of Officer Hartnett.
