"Fuller House": Then and now
From 1987-1995, the family-friendly sitcom "Full House"chronicled the lives of recent widower and television journalist Danny Tanner and his large family.

Stamos played Jesse Katsopolis, Danny Tanner's brother-in-law, who moved into the family's San Francisco house to help raise Tanner's three young daughters - Michelle, Stephanie and D.J. A motorcycle riding rock musician, Jesse was the ultimate cool uncle and was always available to offer advice and support to his young nieces.

The one-time soap opera star has enjoyed an active career since "Full House" ended in 1995. He has appeared in numerous TV programs, including recurring rolls on "ER" and "Glee" and has starred in several Broadway productions including "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying!" and "Bye Bye Birdie."

As the baby of the family, Michelle Tanner, played by twins Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, was know for adorable catch phrases, "You got it dude," and precocious antics. She was a favorite of Uncle Jessy and episodes often featured Michelle learning a moral lesson from Jesse or her older sisters.

The Olsen twins declined to come back to "Fuller House." Stamos said the two were afraid to return to acting.
Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen turned their "Full House" fame into an entertainment empire, starring in scores of TV, film and book projects with their production company Dualstar. The two later became involved with fashion design and have clothing lines at Wal-Mart and J.C. Penney as well as couture label The Row and casual luxury brand Elizabeth & James.

Since "Full House," Bob Saget has had continued success as an entertainer. He hosted the long-running "America's Funniest Home Videos" from 1989-2011 and has appeared in numerous TV programs. Since 2005, Saget has provided the narration for the popular sitcom "How I Met Your Mother."
Saget has been a board member of the Scleroderma Research Foundation since 2002.
