Four charged in grisly Ill. murders
Adam Landerman (clockwise from top left), Alisa Massaro, Joshua Miner, and Bethany McKee were charged with first degree murder after allegedly strangling two men to death and attempting to dismember them Thursday, January 10, 2013. Police say they were surprised to be caught and three of them were found playing video games with the bodies in another room. Each suspect is being held on a $10 million bond. According to CBS Chicago, one of the suspects is the son of a Joliet police sergeant.
On May 22, 2014, Massaro agreed to a plea deal. She received a 10-year prison sentence after pleading guilty to two counts of robbery and two counts of concealing a homicide, all felonies. Prosecutors dropped the murder charge against her, and she may testify against her co-defendants.

Suspect Bethany McKee, 19. McKee had left the scene of the crime before police arrived. She was later detained in Kankakee, Ill.

Suspect Joshua Miner, 25. Of the four suspects, Miner's criminal record is reportedly the most extensive. He faced burglary charges in 2010 and child pornography charges in 2005.

Police were called to this home on the afternoon of Jan. 10, 2013 after being notified that there were dead bodies present. When police entered, Landeman, Massaro and Miner were playing video games and the bodies of Glover and Rankins were in the other room. Police said the crime scene was so grotesque, even veteran officers said it was the worst they had seen in 25 years.
