Already Ravaged
A smoke-filled canyon on the western edge of Los Alamos has yet to recover from the last fire that swept through the area.
Protecting the Plant
Additional firefighting resources are being directed toward the Las Conchas fire burning along the fringes of the Los Alamos National Laboratory. 800 firefighters have already been dispatched to the blaze.
