February snowstorms slam U.S.

Residents of the central U.S. once again found themselves digging out from beneath feet of snow after back-to-back storms pummeled the region this week.

The first major winter storm of the week brought freezing wind, ice and piles of snow to much of the U.S. Kansas was covered with up to 1.5 feet in places and even Arizona was blanketed.
