Fashion's "Hall Of Shame"

Called "style-free and fashion-deprived," two wild gals of celebrity land have scored top dishonors in Mr. Blackwell's 47th annual "Worst Dressed" list, released Jan. 9, 2007. One of his picks was Paris Hilton, shown at left at "US Weekly's Hot Hollywood: Fresh 15" on Sept. 21, 2006. But who tied her for worst place? Keep clicking to find out.

Well, maybe it's not much of a surprise. Britney Spears and Paris Hilton tied for the No. 1 spot on Mr. Blackwell's notorious "Worst Dressed" list. "Two peas in an overexposed pod," Blackwell sniped of the two celebutantes he called the "Screamgirls." At left, Spears appears at the 2006 American Music Awards on Nov. 21, 2006. Some of Blackwell's nastiest words were reserved for Camilla Parker-Bowles, wife of Britain's Prince Charles, who finished No. 2. "The Duchess of Dowdy strikes again," wrote Blackwell. "In feathered hats that were once the rage, she resembles a petrified parakeet from the Jurassic Age. A royal wreck." The acid-tongued critic of celebrity fashion aimed his poison pen at Hollywood, with young entertainers dominating the list. Also in Blackwell's fashion hall of shame was singer Christina Aguilera. He called her a "dazzling singer" but added she "puts good taste through the wardrobe wringer. All crass and no class."
