Ben Boyd farms peanuts, cotton, and corn near Sylvania, Ga. His tractors burn through about 500 gallons of diesel a day. The recent spike in gas prices are cutting directly into his bottom line.
Hitting The Road
The Eye On The Road report kicks off in Miami. Correspondent Sharyn Alfonsi is driving a Honda Accord while the crew's photographer is chugging along in a Ford Expedition and the editor will be in a hybrid Toyota Prius.
