Ex-wife of former baseball star arrested on assault charges

Celebrity gossip site TMZ reports Anna Benson, a former FHM model and estranged wife of ex-baseball star Kris Benson, was arrested July 8 on two counts of felony aggravated assault with a weapon, one count of criminal trespass, and one count of possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. Benson, 37, who was depicted on the reality TV series "Baseball Wives," allegedly raided her ex's apartment with a metal baton and a handgun, according to the site. She was also reportedly wearing a bulletproof vest during the incident.
