Dog and U.S. Marine bond during war
Spike, a black lab, stands at attention with U.S. Marine Jared Heine in Afghanistan. When Heine was injured, the two were separated. Spike ended up working as a police dog in Richmond, Va. and just recently the two were reunited thanks to a social media effort launched by Heine's mother.
