Devastating Missouri storms

The airport is closed indefinitely as crews clean up debris and replace shattered windows. Building engineers must inspect the facilities to make sure they are safe before workers and passengers may return.

The remains of houses and scattered debris are all that is left on part of Beaverton Drive in St. Louis, Mo. Governor Jay Nixon announced late Friday he had declared a state of emergency, allowing state agencies to assist local jurisdictions with their emergency responses to the storm's aftermath.
