Here's something you might not know about the twice-divorced actor: all three of Dennis Quaid's marriages took place on holidays. He married P.J. Soles on Thanksgiving Day in 1978, Meg Ryan on Valentine's Day in 1991 and wed Kimberly Buffington on Independence Day in 2004.
Aside from acting, Dennis Quaid has a pilot's license, and is an avid golfer and musician. He's also written songs for several of the films he's appeared in.

Dennis Quaid has appeared in a host of memorable films. In 1989, he starred as Jerry Lee Lewis in in "Great Balls Of Fire!" His career lost steam in the early 1990s, after he fought and kicked a cocaine addiction. He also told a magazine he suffered from anorexia nervosa in the mid-90s.
