"Dancing" with Trouble?

It's August and that means an all new cast for the huge TV hit "Dancing with the Stars." But this time there's a twist. Almost half of the sixteen celebrities in this season's cast have had brushes with the law. Let's hope they can dance their way out of trouble and into America's hearts.

Macy Gray

Grammy-winning singer Macy Gray was jailed for a week in 1989 for stealing gasoline, according to an April 2007 interview with The Guardian. The article also states that she was caught driving under the influence a few years after. "I'd been ... just partying all the time. I picked up a couple of drug habits," Gray said about her former lifestyle. Here she performs during the 2007 ESPY Awards in LA.

Macy Gray also ran into a minor scuffle with police in Barbados in 2007 when, according to the New York Daily News, the singer was forced to apologize or face arrest and fines after a foul-mouthed on-stage tirade. Tom DeLay

Former Republican Majority Leader Tom DeLay, shown in this bond photo, was indicted by a Texas grand jury in 2005 on criminal charges that he conspired to violate campaign finance laws. DeLay pled not guilty, but Republican Conference rules forced the 62-year-old to resign from his position in the U.S. House of Representatives. The case has not come to trial.

While former Congressman Tom DeLay may not be a shoe-in to win "Dancing with the Stars," the man dubbed the "Hammer" for his tough politics may have one advantage. ABC has added the "Texas Two-Step" to its roster of routines.

OK, Donny Osmond didn't commit a crime, but according to a Times of London article, the squeaky-clean ex-teenybopper's publicist tried to scuff his image up a bit. "My publicist even put together a campaign to get me busted for drugs to dirty up my image. I almost went for it," Osmond told the paper.

Even the fresh-faced Aaron Carter, left, little brother of former Backstreet Boy Nick Carter, right, couldn't stay out of trouble. The pop singer was arrested for possession of at least two ounces of marijuana when he was pulled over for speeding in Junction, Texas, in February 2008, according to TMZ.com.

Michael Irvin is best known for his fast feet on the football field, but he's also had a fast lifestyle. The former Dallas Cowboys receiver was arrested on cocaine possession in 1996 (and showed up to court in a full-length mink coat). He was sentenced to community service.

Louie Vito

Snowboarder Louie Vito, 21, was likely nabbed for pot possession Aug. 8, 2009 in New Zealand, according to ESPN.com. The site matched Vito to a local newspaper report, which said cops stopped a 21-year-old snowboarder set to represent America in the Olympics and a friend for a random roadside breath test and found "not an insignificant amount" of marijuana in their car. Vito was known to be in New Zealand at the time.
