Police said Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Jovan Belcher fatally shot his girlfriend Kasandra Perkins and then himself on Dec. 1, 2012. Authorities said they received a call that early morning from a woman who said her daughter was shot multiple times at a residence about 5 miles away from the Arrowhead complex. Police said Belcher then drove to Arrowhead Stadium and thanked Chiefs general manager Scott Pioli and Romeo Crennel for all they had done for him before going to the parking lot and turning the gun on himself. Belcher is seen here gesturing at the line of scrimmage during an NFL game against the San Diego Chargers on Sept. 30, 2012, in Kansas City, Mo.
