The "Late Show with Stephen Colbert" premieres on CBS, Sept. 8, 2015 with a star-studded list of inaugural guests, including Hollywood stud George Clooney.

Ever the current affairs junkie, Colbert has also made sure to filter a few notable politicians and world leaders throughout his guest list. As such, Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush will join Clooney on the couch for Colbert's debut show.

Scarlett Johansson

"Avengers" star Scarlett Johansson will appear on Colbert's second show, Sept. 9, 2015.

Elon Musk

The Hollywood starlet will be joined on Sept. 9 by the ever eccentric billionaire, Tesla Motors CEO Elon Musk.

Kendrick Lamar

Colbert's interviews with Scarlett Johansson and Elon Musk on Sept. 9 will be followed up by a Kendrick Lamar rap performance.

Vice President Biden

On September 1, 2015, days after all his other guests were announced, Stephen Colbert added Vice President Joe Biden to his Sept. 10 lineup, tweeting:

"September 10th, #LSSC welcomes @VP Joe Biden! Wait, if he's here, who's Vice Presidenting the country?"

Uber CEO Travis Kalanick

Uber CEO Travis Kalanick will also join Colbert on Sept. 10, 2015. Originally, he was slated to be the sole guest that night, but he's likely come to terms with sharing the stage with the vice president.

Comedian Amy Schumer will close out the first week of the "Late Show with Stephen Colbert" on Sept. 11, 2015. So, that show is sure to be a "Trainwreck."

Schumer will be joined by horror novel extraordinaire Stephen King.

British actress Emily Blunt will kick off the second week of Colbert's "Late Show" on Sept. 14, 2015.

Justice Breyer

And Blunt will be joined by U.S. Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer ... an unlikely, yet very Colbert, pairing.

Jake Gyllenhaal

Sept. 15 will see Jake Gyllenhaal in the hot seat, with musical performances by American hip hop duo Run the Jewels and Brooklyn-based indie rock group TV on the Radio.

Kevin Spacey

On Sept. 16, the House of Colbert will entertain "House of Cards" star Kevin Spacey.

Carol Burnett

Comedian Carol Burnett will join Spacey on Colbert's Sept. 16 "Late Show."

Actress Naomi Watts is slated for Colbert's second Thursday show, Sept. 17, 2015.

U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon

And much like the Emily Blunt-Justice Breyer pairing earlier in the week, Colbert will again be combining entertainment with politics. On Sept 17, 2015, Naomi Watts will be joined by U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.

Bernie Sanders

Democratic presidential candidate and U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders will be closing out the second week of Colbert's "Late Show." Sanders will appear as a guest on Sept. 18th.

Lupita Nyong'o

Academy Award-winning actress Lupita Nyong'o will join Sanders on the Sept. 18 show.

"An American in Paris"

Colbert's Sept. 18 "Late Show" will also feature the team from Broadway's "An American in Paris." Specifically, you can expect interviews with the show's choreographer Christopher Wheeldon, as well as its two lead dancers, Robert Fairchild and Leanne Cope.
