The crew of the 75-foot Seattle-based fishing vessel issued a mayday call when their vessel began to sink 50 miles south of Montague Island in the Gulf of Alaska.

CBS News' Tara Mergener reported on "The Early Show" the crewman were stranded for two hours until their rescue. One man died, possibly from a blow to the head suffered as he abandoned ship. The other three were treated for hypothermia. But, thanks to survival suits, they are expected to recover.

Three men and one woman were rescued from the icy water two hours later by a Coast Guard helicopter.
