"Clueless" stars: Where are they now?
Two decades after its July 19, 1995 release, "Clueless" still rings true as a classic teen flick. But what have Cher, Dionne, Amber and the crew been up to for the last 20 years?
Alicia Silverstone (Cher Horowitz)
So what has Alicia Silverstone been up to since playing Cher Horowitz? After playing Batgirl in 1997's "Batman & Robin," she took roles in smaller films and TV movies.
Silverstone is an advocate for PETA and wrote a vegan lifestyle book called "The Kind Life." She also spearheads a blog of the same name.
Stacey Dash (Dionne)
Dash reprised her Dionne character in the "Clueless" television series, which aired for four seasons after the movie's release. She later bounced from series to series until landing a lead role in VH1's "Single Ladies."
Lately, you'll find Dash voicing her conservative Republican ideals on daytime talk shows and Twitter.
Paul Rudd (Josh)
Paul Rudd has kept pretty busy since "Clueless" debuted in 1995. He held a recurring role on "Friends" and starred in comedic powerhouse films "The 40-Year-Old Virgin," "Role Models," "Knocked Up" and "I Love You Man."
In July 2015, Rudd debuts as the lead insect in the Marvel film "Ant-Man." Rudd and an all-star cast will hit Netflix later in the month with "Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp," the prequel to the 2001 favorite.
Brittany Murphy (Tai)
After Brittany had us rollin' with the homies in "Clueless," her career took off: "Drop Dead Gorgeous," "Girl, Interrupted," "Riding in Cars with Boys," "8 Mile," and "Sin City" were just a few of Murphy's blockbusters. Sadly, Murphy passed away due to complications with pneumonia and anemia in 2009 at age 32.
Donald Faison (Murray)
Donald Faison was endearing as Murray in "Clueless." He also kept it real in the "Clueless" TV series. On the TV series "Felicity," Faison played Tracy. He then jumped around, lending his voice and talents to several shows before landing the role of Dr. Christopher Turk in "Scrubs."
Now Faison can be found on TVLand's "The Exes" and spends time with his wife CaCee Cobb, his six children and his best bud Zach Braff.
Elisa Donovan (Amber)
In addition to Amber from "Clueless," Elisa also played Morgan Cavanaugh in "Sabrina, The Teenage Witch."
She picked up several television roles, from guest spots on "NCIS" and "Sonny with a Chance" to a recurring role as Belinda Bannister in "The Dog Who Saved Christmas," "The Dog Who Saved Christmas Vacation," "The Dog Who Saved Halloween"... the list goes on.
Jeremy Sisto (Elton)
Oh, Elton. So young and misguided. But we can't say the same about Jeremy Sisto. After "Clueless," Jeremy kept steady television gigs, including roles in "Six Feet Under," "Law & Order" and "Suburgatory."
Sisto's latest TV persona is Peter Lattimore in A&E's "The Returned."
Breckin Meyer (Travis)
Breckin Meyer brought us the lovable slacker Travis in "Clueless." He also appeared in another teen classic, "Can't Hardly Wait." From there, Breckin took on crazy-fun roles in "Road Trip," "Kate & Leopold," "Garfield," "Garfield 2" and "Franklin & Bash."
There have also been plenty of specials and episodes of "Robot Chicken" and "King of the Hill."
Dan Hedeya (Mel Horowitz)
Dan Hedeya was a well-known actor long before playing Mel Horowitz; think "Cheers," "Wise Guys" and the Coen Brothers' "Blood Simple."
After "Clueless," Dan appeared as Herb Spivak on "ER" and then took two more fatherly roles: Monk's dad in "Monk" and Danny Castellano's dad in "The Mindy Project."
Wallace Shawn (Mr. Hall)
Mr. Hall wasn't the only big role Wallace Shawn played in '95. He was also Rex in Disney's "Toy Story." He carried on his tenure as Mr. Hall in the "Clueless" TV series while also playing Zek in "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine." He was also Vizzini in the cult classic "The Princess Bride."
Twink Caplan (Ms. Geist)
Sweet Ms. Geist was played by Twink Caplan, who was also an associate producer on the film and later, the co-executive producer of the "Clueless" TV series from 1996 through 1997.
Julie Brown (Ms. Stoeger)
Julie Brown has an eye for the timeless. Since "Clueless," she's written plenty of pilots and also co-penned Disney's "Camp Rock," which made Demi Lovato and The Jonas Brothers teenage heartthrobs.
Brown also appeared as a guest judge on "RuPaul's Drag Race" in 2013.
Justin Walker (Christian)
Actor Justin Walker had a few things in common with our Spartacus-loving shopping buddy character, Christian. He found beauty in art - the culinary kind, to be specific. Walker now owns Teddy Teadle's Grill, a restaurant in California.
Sean Holland (Lawrence)
Though he only held the screen for a few minutes in the 1995 movie, Lawrence was more present in the "Clueless" television series.
After "Clueless," Holland guested on a few televisions series, including "Any Day Now" and "Suburgatory."
