Cherry blossoms are in bloom at sunrise across from the Jefferson Memorial in Washington on Wednesday March 26, 2008. The trees are predicted to be in peak bloom from March 27 through April 3, 2008, according to the park service's chief horticulturist, Rob DeFeo. The National Cherry Blossom Festival begins at the end of March.
