Aspiring rapper killed in Las Vegas Strip shooting

Kenneth Cherry Jr., seen here, was killed in a car-to-car shooting in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip in the early hours of Feb. 21, 2013. The shooting began when someone in a black Range Rover opened fire on a Maserati, driven by Cherry, at a stoplight. The Maserati then hit a taxi that burst into flames. Cherry, the driver of the taxi cab and its passenger died in the incident. At least six people were injured. The Range Rover, which reportedly held several people, fled the scene. Cherry was an aspiring rapper also known as Kenny Clutch, his attorney Vicki Greco said. According to his Facebook page, Cherry is from Oakland, Calif. and lived in Las Vegas.
