Anne Bancroft

Anne Bancroft, shown in this April 11, 1968, file photo, died of uterine cancer on June 7,2005. She was 73. Bancroft won the 1962 best actress Oscar as the teacher of a young Helen Keller in "The Miracle Worker," but achieved greater fame as a seductive mother in 1967's "The Graduate."
