AFI picks best TV, films of 2013
The AMC drama about a high school chemistry teacher-turned-drug baron was one of the recipients of the American Film Institute's annual list of Top 10 Television programs of 2013, announced on Monday, December 9, along with the AFI Award winners for the top 10 films of the year.

Each year, the AFI Awards honor 10 outstanding films and 10 outstanding television programs deemed to be culturally and artistically representative of the year's most significant achievements.
The awards jury consists of AFI members and trustees, scholars, film and television artists, and critics.
