#ActuallySheCan celebrates female mentors
In honor of International Day of the Girl, the ActuallySheCan campaign teamed up with a host of famous faces to launch the #ActuallySheCan Mentorship program with Allergen. To kick things off, well-known fashion photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinooh Matadin photographed inspiring female celebrities Iman, Chloe Grace Moretz, Gabby Douglas, Gabourey Sidibe and Atlanta de Cadenet, beside the women who impacted their lives in a meaningful way and inspired them the most. TV talk show host Amanda de Cadenet interviewed the women. The campaign includes a series of videos with the women profiled.
Somali-born supermodel, Iman and Bethann Hardison (R).
Called the ‘mom’ of supermodels, Hardison began her career as a model and then turned her focus to diversifying the fashion industry, including supporting the careers of emerging models like Iman.
Chloe Grace Moretz

Chloe’s mother, manager and mentor Teri, has been an important source of support and guidance for Chloe, 19, both in her career and personal life. In addition to being an actress, Chloe is an outspoken advocate for LBGT right and gender equality.
Gabby Douglas

Hawkins, an aspiring fashion designer, has been a constant source of strength to Douglas and helped her Olympic dreams come true.

Atlanta de Cadenet Taylor

De Cadenet, the founder and CEO of a digital community for female photographers #Girlgaze and an author, raised de Cadenet Taylor to be a strong, confident and independent woman. Like her mom, de Cadanet Taylor is a multi-tasker as an actress, model DJ and fashion icon.
Gabourey Sidibe
Actress Gabourey Sidibe and Lisa Cortes (R).
Gabourney came to fame with her role in “Precious.” Lisa, an award-winning film producer and a former record label executive, produced the film that launched Gabourney’s career.
