PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Someone who bought a Powerball ticket in the Pittsburgh area hit the jackpot, winning $213.8 million in the Aug. 12 drawing.

The ticket matched all five white balls drawn, 9-22-57-67-68, as well as the red Powerball 14 to win the jackpot. The winning ticket was sold at Quick Pizza and Hoagies on Harts Run Road in Indiana Township.

A winner hasn't come forward to claim the prize yet, and winners are unknown until prizes are claimed and tickets are validated. The jackpot winner can take the nearly $214 million in annual payments over 29 years or $106.4 million in cash.

The business will receive a $100,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket. The owner said they will reinvest the money into the business to make it better for the customers, doing some upgrades and marketing.

"That's awesome. They're good people in there. I like this place," one customer said.

They have a lot of regular customers from the community who say they are excited too and hoping they know the person who won.

"I actually come here every day and get my grandfather Powerball so I'm going to go home and I'm going to take his Powerball and check it and see if he won it," one customer said.

"The first thing I did was call my mom because she always buys her tickets here. She didn't win," customer Gunnar Klein said.

According to the Pennsylvania Lottery, this is the sixth time this year the Powerball jackpot was won. The last time someone won the jackpot in Pennsylvania was in August 2022. That winning ticket worth nearly $207 million was sold at a Sheetz in New Stanton, Westmoreland County.

The most recent winning ticket was the 20th Powerball jackpot won in Pennsylvania since 1992.

"The Pennsylvania Lottery congratulates the lucky winner and our retailer, Quick Pizza and Hoagies, for selling this big Powerball jackpot-winning ticket," Pennsylvania Lottery Executive Director Drew Svitko said in a news release. "Thanks to our loyal players and our network of nearly 10,000 retailers across Pennsylvania, the PA Lottery is able to continue generating proceeds to pay for life-sustaining programs and services our senior population relies upon."
